i've looked at last years results and the finsihers were between 30mins, (nutty professional athletes!!) and 2 hours 19 mins....
yer average runner will come in somewhere around the hour mark....
my one and only other 10k in 2004 was 78 minutes.... i'm aiming for somewhere less than 90 mins this time...
If people are coming in in 2 hours + they are probably walking or run/walking it, so please don't stress about it.... it's very much a mixed abilities kinda run.....
and with training 10k is possible in about 8 weeks from nothing if you are relatively healthy never mind actually fit as such....... we have 4 times that timescale..... (rough count, someone feel free to correct me!!)I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0 -
