Normally use MSN messenger mainly because i have hotmail email address. A friend of mine has a yahoo email address and wish to talk to me on yahoo messenger. Can i download yahoo messenger and use both at the same time or can i incorporate yahoo messenger within msn messenger?

There are a few programs around that allow you to use Yahoo, ICQ, WLM without installing or running any of them individually. Can't remember the what any are called, but I'm sure somebody can.

just download trillian., you can then use the one program to chat using yahoo, msn ICQ etc. irrespective of which of those your friends are using.
  • Yes you can download Trillian or Miranda, there's quite a few multi chat protocol programs out there.

But if it's just an MSN/Yahoo then all you have to do is add your friend's yahoo email to "add a contact" in MSN (Windows Live Messenger) and your friend add your hotmail email to their yahoo messenger contact list as both programs allow this.
