Like many others I opened an A&L a/c for the £100 (£125 after refer a friend). Only opened it in August and just heard about their direct a/c paying 8.5% up to £2.5K. Although you can't open a direct a/c if you already hold another account, they let me CONVERT my Premier a/c to a Direct one. Therefore they paid the incentive AND I can now get the good rate. RESULT!!! Still have to pay in £500pm from an outside source.
