Just got bargains for last minute additions to Christmas presents (I think I might be the only person I know that calls 25th November "last minute" lol!). I also have BFs birthday on Monday so these really are last minute!

Mamma Mia, In Bruges, The Orphanage and Forgetting Sarah Marshall on DVD, £20 Leisure vouchers from Pigsback so £9.99 to pay.

Sanctuary Mum to Be pack, Sanctuary perfume and Sanctuary bath salts, 3 for 2 in Boots, £24 worth of points, nothing to pay.

I really want Christmas to just be here now...!

I seem to be making very little progress today........managed to re-arrange stuff to actually fit in teenage grandsons shoe box.........bought some silver foil paper to have a go at re-doing grandaughters basket........keep putting it off in case it looks worse............ Local florist says she'l have some christmas cello in on Monday so if all else fails that might work better so whats inside the basket can't be seen.

Well done on some lovely hampers. The beer one is great I know someone who would love that also loving some of the sweetie hampers both on here and other thread.

I have bought and paid for cello, ribbons and now will have to wait on postie to get wrapping. I want it done by the 1st December.:eek:

Does anyone know about advance lottery tickets i need to put one in my dads pot of gold.


I am out looking at baby stuff tomorrow.. more a wish list really :j

Went to Matalan a few days ago and they had some lovely perfume bottles reduced to £4. Might be nice for some pampering hampers? Mine were also still on 3 for 2 because they hadn't covered that sticker, although they aren't supposed to be 3 for 2 as well as half price anymore.

Just thought i would say check your local clearence shops like "mr cheap" ect as they have loads on half price!

They had pretty themed mugs in mr cheap today for 50p.. so you could put on of them in a hamper and put the snowman soup bag inside or some thing

I have a hampery question?
Ive bought a gorgeous box to fill with chocolate for my best friend and her hub -joint present means i can save a bit of money hopefully instead of buying something expensive between them as well as their own gifts.
Is it naughty to add tissue paper and/or wrap the little bars of choc in paper or tissue paper to bulk the box out slightly??
The box will have to be wrapped prior to giving or ill end up eating all the choc
Also trying to find some cheapish cadburys chocolate to fill it with
