cotton bottoms nappies

how do you use them? someone gave me a load of covers, can i use them with terries?
if not what size are the prefolds so i can make some nappies to fit?

You can use them with terries. I just fold the terries as you would a prefold and then hold in place with the wrap, however many people reccomend using a nappy nippa to hold the terry then put the wrap on top. It would be much cheaper to use terries, saying that I have prefolds too and I would say, as these are a very trim nappy I prefer the terry to the prefolds. Personally I bought cotton bottoms, prefolds and a load of terries and have been fine!! My daughter is 51/2 months and I've never used any other nappies I love my cotton bottoms. Only thing I've found is depending on how tightly you do the tabs sometimes the leg holes can be a bit tight. but might be cos she has chunky thighs like her mum!! Hope ya get on ok with them.

I got 47 for 35 quid, and they were as good as new- i couldn't believe they had been used. Also I worked out it was cheaper than making them myself cos of time spent etc....

I used to just fold a terry like a prefold in normal wraps too,... Figured it would be a bit nicer than having soggy terry nappy wrapped around your legs...
