Travel Insurance

Hi guys
Basically our local church organises trips abroad. We are thinking of going on one to Italy however they are not ATOL or ABTA bonded as they run the trips as non-profit. The deposit is not refundable.
What i would like to know is does anyone know any travel insurance companies that will insure us for the trip in case we cannot go due to medical reasons, or if the trip for whatever reason does not go ahead etc? Thanks

You will be covered in the case of canc ill health etc with travel insurers. What you should be concerned is if the carrier (ie airline) goes to pot
Think you should find out a bit more about the trip before you can be certain, such as who is the church booking with.... Are they booking with a ATOL/Abta reg co.... Or do they do flights/accom themselves? Do they pay by CC..
All these answers should give you the info needed to make an informed decision
