Sealing internal door with draught excluder

I have bought a roll of draught excluder from B&Q to seal the internal doors. I am surprised to find out after putting the draught excluder, I cannot close the door. I have used the rubber type. Is there anything I can do, as it is now, I have to remove the excluder from one side near the hinges so that the door can close.? I am wondering whether I am doing something wrong. Also can somebody please tell me what kind of saw I need to cut the door draught excluder, the metal bit with the black brittles? Thanks

You can't close the door because you've put the draught excluder on the hinge side of the door! Just use it on the top and the side closest to the handle/locko f the door. A hacksaw can be used to cut the metal draught excluder for the door bottom."You were only supposed to blow the bl**dy doors off!!"0
