in Credit cards
Basically I dont think my credit score is that great (although i have checked experian and only have one card which i missed payments on).
any how, i have applied for various credit cards over the past few months and loans in order to consolidate my debts to a lower interest rate or 0% balance transfer, but have not been successful. I can only assume this is due to my credit score and the fact that i live in my over draft and often exceed it.
it is a continuous cycle and i feel unable to get out of it which is why i wanted to consolidate and try and pay off as much as I can.
When i am applying for products I am using my personal account details, but i also have a joint account which is used for bills etc and is always in credit.
Do you think I would have more chance of been accepted for credit if i use the joint account bank details?
Any help on this or ways or companies that may be able to help, i would like to hear from you.
Thanks

The account is only for the direct debit so it doesn't matter.0

if you have made lots of credit applications then stop applying.. too many damage your credit rating... take a six months break.
consolidating your CCs isn't an magic wand... you need to look at your spending habits and stop overspending.
what about a part time job..and throw the extra money at the debts
if you are struggling then go over to the debt free wannabe board.. read the stickies and post up an SOA.0 -
All those applications will have damaged your credit score. Don't apply for anything for at least 6 months. Are you sure you are on the electoral roll too?DMP Mutual Support Thread member 244
