Can anyone recommend some software (preferably free) that will convert a Powerpoint slide show into a dvd that can be played in a standard dvd player? I would like it just to play in a continuous loop if possible.

Thanks for the link. I tried the first option (Authorstream). It took about 4 hours. It worked OK but the quality was very poor. My 32MB Powerpoint file was reduced to 3MB.0

Ok the easiest way i use to do this was make all you slide jpegs which powerpoint will do for you. Then use nero vison and make dvd, make slide show and just add all you jpegs into this. You can add transistions and adjust you time between the slides.0
