Debit Card Fraud

Hey guys, I wonder if someone can help me. I had a payday loan and ran into difficulties so stopped my card and emailed them to say I wanted to set up a payment plan. They didn't respond etc. I got my new card and then last week found that the company had taken 3 payments on my new card without me giving them my details (I think they may have picked them up from another site they run?!) I've reported it as fraud to my bank but I get the distinct impression the bank don't believe me. Am I right in this is it a fraudulent transaction?
Thanks in advance

No, you are not.
First time you gave them your details, a continuous authority was set up. It's designed for when people pay bills regularly - it stops them from having to tell everyone they changed their card. It's used more abroad than here, since we have direct debit etc. What would William Shatner do?0 -
So how do they obtain the card details?0

The bank can't do this as no continuous authority exists. A new credit agreement is required every time a loan is taken out.0

Reading your post you run into difficulty repaying an existing loan.If I get a new card from bank the bank just continues to pay standing orders or direct debits from the new card unless I instruct my bank not to do so. Did you instruct the bank not to pay it? If not it will just continue.0
