Do you think screen filters do any good?
Some of my colleagues who have recently visited the their opticians have been advised to get some. I have not worked in an office yet that has them fitted so I cannot comment on whether they are good or not.

They do reduce glare, but are especially good at stopping the reflection
of the sun in an office that can cause the same symptoms as snow blindness
a kind of irritaded feeling that can feel like grit in the eye.0 -
to be honest i finding turning the colour and contrast down works better than any screen filter.0

Perhaps preferable, if possible, to position the screen so that minimal reflections are caused. Better to avoid the problem rather than reduce it.
Buying LCD screens rather than CRTs will assist!
