What are your goals???

My goals are rather 'wooly':

To motivate my DH to 'buy into' savings and cutting back and the 'dream'/goal of debt-free living.
To get rid of our overdraft and credit card debt and NOT build this up again - by end of 2009.
To be in a position to actually save money and to live comfortably within our means.
To pursue my career goal of clinical psychology.
To feel less anxious about financial matters and in a comfortable position (financially!) to start a family.

Ok well my goals are quite complicated.
But I am trying to save up a 5k nest egg, this is to help cover me over the summer vacation as I am a mature student with a huge mortgage and 5 children.
I am hoping to get rid of 5k of debt with F and F in the next few months and I would love to be debt free by 2010! I am on a DMP with CCCS and have finally made in back in to the teens of owing instead of the 20s!
I also would to save for a new car in the next 12 months!

After the 5k, the debt and the car lol It will be the turn of the mortgage!
A loooooonnnggggg goal but I find plans help.
