Hello, I hope someone can help, I've gone bald trying to do this and that's not a good look for a woman!!
My son is in a band and they have had a cd recorded professionally. I want to make it into a dvd and add still pictures in a slide show style coz I don't have a video and then transfer this to his MySpace. I have Windows Vista Home Premium and the standard Windows DVD Maker. When I used the Windows DVD Maker it formatted it into "msdvd". Also when I was transferring pics to this to make the slide show it made the pictures show for only 7 seconds each and I had to transfer enough pics to make this time match the song time and not the other way about itms.
I feel completely out of my depth here, please any advice would be appreciated.

Do you actually want to create a DVD, or are you ultimately just trying to create a slideshow for MySpace?
Oh, and good luck to your son - I've got some mates in bands and they've put on some of the best gigs I've ever been to. Still unsigned, though - it's a tough ol' game!0 -

Last time I used this, it was called DVD Slideshow Builder. But I put Wondershare into Google, clicked the DVD Slideshow Builder link and got that page - so I hope it's the right one, lol. I'll double check again, in a bit.Everybody is equal; However some are more equal than others.0 -
It looks like there are quite a few online applications that will allow you to create a MySpace slideshow:

Well, his Myspace has the music already in place but I want to add the slide show there sync'd to the music. But I also want to have a copy of the music/slide show in the pc in order to send to gig organisers via email, is this poss? And if it is, I take it has to be in the mp4 type format and not msdvd as it is just now coz I can send it like that but no-one can open it. Told you I was hopeless
.
You're so right it's a tough old game. I won tix for him and his mate to go see Alter Bridge in Glasgow tonight, attend the sound check party and meet the band members afterwards and he's going to give them a copy of the cd :eek:.0
