When you transfer funds into your esaver 3 it shows as processed the same day as when its pulled from your linked account. Your not allowed to withdraw for 3 days i think, are you still earning interest during these 3 days im thinking your not right? Thats why they do it?

You're still earning interest during the 3 (or whatever) days.
The reason they operate like this is not to penalise you, but because direct debits can be reversed. For example, if you make a 'claim' under the direct debit guarantee your bank will invoke the direct debit indemnity procedure and claw the money back from B&B.0
