Wednesday 5/11/08. What small dfw things will you do today????

Hi everyone, thanks andan for starting the thread.
mickymouse - you have reminded me I need to phone dentist for 2 fillings I was supposed to get in september but I missed the appointment because i was admitted to hospital (I would rather be in hospital a week than the dentist an hour).
I went to see Bond last night then for a drink after, whole night out cost me £3 thanks to disability 2 4 1 cinema pass and OH paying anyway, even used his car and petrol. I only had to buy a drink, he even bought pick and mix.
I then tried to stay up for US elections but fell asleep on the sofa about half one, good result anyway.
Today I plan to
- blitz clean the house, or especially downstairs DONE!!!
- then go into town and post an ebay parcel Posted 2 since another buyer has paid since
- only cook storecupboard meals today, potentially batch cook if I am in the mood (think I might be) failed!
- ooops, get some cash in town to pay the childminder, will leave me totally skint for rest of November now my tenants in 2 investment flats are claiming HB I cant get rental money yet until claim has gone through Paid few weeks upfront
- chase up the HB, especially for one tenant who is having problems with HB, might have to threaten with eviction to hurry HB up, nip into court in town to see how I go about it EMAILED THEM,called in office and got someone investigating, to phone up tomorrow for update
-have a quick bath and groom session, I feel like a right mess.done
- go to council organised bonfire tonight for the amazing fireworks and take my camera/tripod etc to get some decent piccies.Failed, saved on petrol but went to pub instead
- dont know what else but sure I will post later
Done a wash load on 30, mainly tea towels, dishcloths etc, so more money saving I am not buying more dishcloths (used to use them disposable floor wipes etc pre LBM)

Feeling a bit fed up today - lots of work stuff and am a bit daunted by having to be away for the majority of the next two weeks in India and Poland. Roll on Xmas!!

Anyway, here's today's list....

have free lunch at work with clients
have tea from storecupboard
walk dog for free exercise
do Mr S on line shop (didn't get round to this last night but there's footie on tonight so will defo do it!)
washing and airer drying
ask my mum if she can bring the dog back to me after my travels when she comes to visit - saves us both a trip in petrol (about 250 miles so worth doing!)
be nice to my OH cos I was a right grumpy cow yesterday!

sorted my gas account with edf, should be up n running soon. No one knows why its taken so long tho . Plus my online acc says ive paid my first dd but my online banking shows nothing . Says i payed it on 2nd but nowt has come out of my bank.

continue to declutter!

go to work for 3hrs overtime

going to free firework display instead of buying own

Good afternoon all!

Busy morning today so just catching up! Little one has chest infection and nice doctor has given him some of that foul banana tasting medecine. Cue a full scale fight each time medecine is due!!!

Piquant - I hate five week months too..grr!!

So heres the list today:

* Write letter to DCA that I received a letter off today. Referring them straight back to the CCCS.

* E-mailed CCCS advising them of above

* Donate my old wrinkly veg to greyhound kennels

* Storecupboard dinner

* Do some competitions if I get time!

* Not a NSD unfortunately as I treated my poorly boy to some fresh hot sausage rolls

Hello to all before me and all those who follow :wave:

Today I have/will:

• checked on-line banking - received my first payment from Quidco - all 18p of it!!
• brought lunch in from home
• evening meal made from whatevers in the house
• looking like it's a NSD!
• post some competition entries - still waiting for my first win though!!!
• parcel up a couple of ebay things to send
• finish collecting my Avon cash and get it paid into the bank
• need petrol but that's budgeted for

I'm sure there's more but that's all I can think of for now

Well my spending//cash dairy is going good. But iv not be able to have a no spend day yet. Im hoping for one tomorrow.

This evening i need to cheack ipoints accout. And see if there is anyway i can make so more points for free.

buy a book of play.com.... throuh Qidco.

Cheak internet banking..(i do this evey day)

Miss Piggy - Life's not up to much if you can't treat a poorly lad to a sausage roll:D Hope he feels better soon, that is one of the great things about little ones, they do tend to recover quickly....before you know it he'll be bowling you over with a well aimed toy:rotfl:

I have walked soggy doggy and owner (we got very wet)
Helped dh unload wood for bonfire for saturdays firework display (that will teach them to say we haven't got any wood:p)
I will put my bills away.
Storecupboard dinner (I have my eye on some home made mullagatawny soup from the freezer:rolleyes:)
If i finish tidying conservatory I will photo more items for ebay.
I also need to look at College websites for ds
Read electricity meter, I am monitoring this baby
List things to do for work and my hours
send out invoice reminders ( I would be happy if I just printed them tonight)
I am going to a friends tomorrow so i could post them then
Do my weekly list as I have let this lapse and i am not getting so much done
Well I am off to get dh dinner, burgers from freezer, his choice not mine. lol
