I tried using the starbucks voucher in old st central london today and got told no it was only vaild on the 5th what can I do?

There should be an email address for Starbucks to send a complaint to. Tell them why you thought this was valid, that others got this, and how humiliated/disappointed you were....ANd ask for a voucher to be used in future.

You might not get anywhere, but at least you have asked. They are trying much harder just now - they realise that they are a more considered purchase in the credit crunch,

Well I had no answer to my email to Starbucks regarding the vouchers, but printed off the statement from the Guardian and took that to the Starbucks at Hull (St Andrews Quay) and they were fine with that, ordered 3 free coffees for me, hubby and mum, one of each flavour - they were lovely!!
