Flammable gas to France?

:hello:
I thought this would be a good place to post, as it's a shipping query.
I want to send some Micronox cylinders to a friend in France. The company will not ship them direct (I think it's basically too much hassle), so I am considering buying them and forwarding them to him.
Bearing in mind that these are very small cylinders of compressed, flammable gas, can anyone point me in the right direction for a suitable courier?
Cheers!

If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.

Using bable fish to translate "Gas Welding Torch Kit" into "Kit de torche de soudage à gaz".
Paste it into google and you get http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&q=Kit+de+torche+de+soudage+%C3%A0+gaz&btnG=Google+Search&meta=
And they might be able to find some themselves.0 -
If they are very small, send them by Royal Mail, anything under 2kg will be cheaper that way.
If there is a problem over pressurised gas in an aeroplane, send them by surface post.0 -

That's why I was asking.
Incidentally custardy, how much is it supposed to cost to send a postcard to France? I put first class stamps on. Sometimes they arrive in a few days. Other times, someone puts them in a box for 3 weeks. Then they put a sticker on the postcards saying "insufficient postage", and send them anyway. What's that all about then?

Sadly, they no longer sell Micronox in France. The chap that needs it makes jewellery and stuff, and these particular cylinders fit his little welder. If he can't get them, then he'll have to replace the welder, which would be rather expensive.
Je pense c'est ça qu'il a dit.

What if you're happy with surface mail? Is that an option?

http://www.royalmail.com/portal/rm/jump2?catId=400033&mediaId=400037Yes, but some restrictions do apply. Letters and postcards to Europe can only be sent by Airmail. Also, our Surface Mail Letters, Printed Papers and Small Packets services are not available to Chad.0
