Credit card query

I am looking for a credit card, becuase i want to pay of the 5 accounts i have with HFC bank for 30% apr, I am paying out around £120 a month and i owe about 1200 in total, so I am sure i can pay it off quickly with a new credit card.

Is a balance transfer card the one i need, or is that for switching card to card balances only?

help please?

Yep, any MBNA issued card will do for you. They allow super balance transfer.

When i look at the application forms for the balance transfer cards, they ask for the card numbers for the transfer BUT i dont have actual cards I just have a HFC bank account, for 5 items i purcahased on seperate occasions at a large electrical store all at 30%apr.

So If i paid off these 5 debts with a new credit card, could i not simply phone HFC and pay the debts off with the new card whn i recieve it.

My question is do i need a balance transfer deal or a new purchase deal to clear these debts? Do i transfer balances (if so how with no card number) or just get a card and phone HFC and clear the debt onto the card through HFC?
