I have no heating in my house and will be getting a few rooms done every couple of days. So I have a few questions

Do i need anything to aid the drying process??

    As a builder.

Personally if i had a room plastered i would leave it a week (if room kept in normal dry conditions) before painting.

I have read against using heaters etc in the drying process.

But a friend of a friends company who did a hell of a lot of work after last years summer floods had heaters drying out plaster.

Personally i would not reccommend it im a million years.
Hi there! We’ve had to remove your signature. It was so good we removed it because we cannot think of one so good as you had and need to protect others from seeing such a great signature.

    as per heaters............as per lionhead

if you whack them up to full heat and put them a foot away from the wall then you will get problems
but having an oil filled rad in the centre fo the room and keeping at a constant low temp can aid drying

  • You'll know when it's ready to paint - the colour of the skim-coat will turn a light pink.
