Just got my Veterans Travel Card Today

Although I posted a while ago when I first heard about it, my Veterans Concessionary Oyster Card arrived in the post today. Yippee, free travel in London on the buses, tube, Docklands Light Railway and London Overground trains at any time and free travel on some other trains in London after 0930 Mon to Fri and all day at weekends. Thanks Boris.
If any veterans get either an ongoing War Pension or ongoing Armed Forces Compensation Scheme payment, then its well worth applying for as its completely free, whether you live in London or not. It will certainly come in handy for me next weekend for getting to/from the Remembrance Sunday Parade at the Cenotaph.
