Could someone explain the Bovril question to me please?! The EXCEPT on toast has flung me.............what!! You put Bovril on toast!!!!!!!!! Isnt this the stuff you make gravy with or am I losing the plot!!0

I put it in all my mince dishes. It gives it a lovely beefy flavour0

Bovril on toast is really tasty - especially with "proper" butter - need a snack now! If you decide to be brave and try it, don't spread too much on, a tiny bit gives a lot of taste.0

Beef tea, as it was once known is great, especially when you have a cold. When I couldn't afford Bovril, I used to use an Oxo cube. Those were the days.I'm back after a break :money:0
