couple of lloyds tsb questions - please help!

good evening,
i paid a cheque into my lloyds internet savings account last thursday (30th october). so when will it clear and when will it be available to withdraw ? are the time periods the same for a savings account and normal bank account ?

also has anyone withdrawn more than the daily £300 limit from lloyds ? do i just go inside and ask for £700 ?? do i need to bring in any proof of ID or answer any silly security questions ?
i have my card and pin, is that all which is needed .

Card should be sufficient for £700, but take passport/drivers licence just in case.Conjugating the verb 'to be":

Time periods are the same for normal and savings accounts. If the cheque you paid in came from a Lloyds TSB account, the cheque clears the next working day. If not, then it will probably be available for you on wednesday morning.
To take out anything less than £2000 over the counter, you can just go in with your bank card, as they should have a signature on file for you. I'd take driver's licence/passport just in case they don't, but you technically shouldn't have any problems.0 -
The guys in my local Lloyds TSB know me, so I can do pretty much whatever I like0
