Overdraft Charges

Hi,

Have a current account with Halifax and recently used my overdraft facility to pay for part of my car. Iv just started paying roughly £40 a month on interest as I pay back the overdraft and wondered if any current accounts out there offer free arranged overdrafts while I pay it off?? Or at least a better rate of interest?!

ta very much

  • How good is your credit rating? There are better and more effective ways to do it than keep it as an overdraft. If you've got a good enough score, get the Virgin Money card and do a balance transfer from your current account. It's then 0% for a long, long time, and it'll be easier to pay off than an overdraft.
