Help with Thomson/First Choice!!!!

I booked a holiday with Thomson/First Choice at the beginning of the year and actually fly out of the country on Saturday. Well I hope to except that we haven't yet received the tickets!!!!

Is anyone else having problems with them?? No-one wants to take any responsibility and have just shrugged their shoulders and said to just pick them up from the desk at the airport. I have had a bad experience of this in the past as I almost missed my flight as the tickets hadn't arrived until the last minute.

Anyone got any suggestions as to what I can do? I really need to vent my frustration to someone:mad:

That's really strange.
We've done a couple of holidays with them and always got the tickets 2 weeks in advance. Even if they hadn't contacted us, telling me to go get the tickets from the shop, I would definitely have called them well in advance, not only in the last week.

My only suggestion is to get to the airport with plenty of time.

They have always been really good, but for whatever reason this time we just haven't received them. My Mum has been chasing them for the last couple of weeks and the local shop who she booked the holiday with just kept saying - it will be definitely next week.

Apparently the tickets have been posted out to the shop on 2 occasions so whether they are having problems @ head office i don't know.

Understandably my Mum is really worried and anxious as we haven't had the tickets. I'm sure it will all be ok, but just adds to the stresses of going on holiday!!!

There's absolutely no problem whatsoever with collecting tickets at the airport - we do this for every single passenger we book travelling within 14 days whichever tour operator it is.

Tickets are not delivered to the airport - the Tour operator will have a ticket desk at the airport and they print the tickets there so there's no chance of the tickets not being there.

The only times tickets are physically delivered to the airport is when you have booked through a tour operator that outsources flights - eg a Kuoni holiday with BA flights - then the tickets are delivered to the aiport if they are not ETickets. If its a straight forward package with Thomson/First Choice flying with their own airline they will just print you a set of tickets there and then.

Take a booking details copy with you just in case. we received out tickets about 2 weeks before departure. Enjoy your holiday
