Has the price stopped rising?? I've fed up with scottish power hiking my DD when I am loads in credit and I'd like to switch providers.:D Unfortunately the only lower prices I can find are not capped or fixed. so it's a bit of a gamble  Any suggestions???

  • Are you in an all electricity property? Are you on a fixed price with scottish power? If your on a fixed price with scottish power pre price rise then switching wouldnt be advisable. If you dont feel that you will be using the amount of gas that they are asking for on a DD then cancel it and set up a standing order instead at your bank. That way you will just need to pay any differnce when your bill comes in each quarter.

All electric here:eek: and on online discount nsc since june-but we had oil c/h installed recently ( no gas ) ;) and they just can't seem to understand that even with all the price rises I still won't use the amount that they want me to pay for. It even shows on the online usage graph--but will they listen? nah. Rubbish customer service.:p
I think i'll shop around for awhile and see what else is out there.
