i am getiing a wii for the family for xmas - trying to work out the best stuff to get with it?
I dont know whethre to get mario kart with the extra wheel, or mario olympics with the basic package (or considering the wii with extra controller and nunchuk and buying the family trainer as ive read it is as good as the wii fit but more fun) - ages of kids are 11, 13, (boys) 14 and 16 (girls) me and hubby 40's - was wondering if the mario kart is more a boy thing, and i would be better getting the olympics or family trainer - if so which? Also with 4 kids would it be worth getting 3 extra remotes and nunchuks or just the one for now?

I would go for Mariokart, it is a fab game - you can buy wii brand extra wheels in Toys r us for £6.99 (be careful though as the no brand ones were £9.99!)

  • Hi there just let you all know that the Wii deal is still on @ tesco making it the best deal that I've seen for the Wii. Deal is Wii inc. Wii Sport package plus choice of one game there are several to choose from but Wii play is the best choice as it includes a free controller. They have already done the VAT change too. Meaning you get Wii console, Wii Sports, Extra controller and Wii play all for around £175. Bargain!

Beware! they are not advertising this deal you may have to whinge a bit to get it as they are not particulary forthcoming but it is definately still on and is till the 4th of December nationwide in all stores. Stick to your guns and happy shopping.
  • I saw an advert on TV just within the last 2 days for nintendo ds lite and brain trainer game for £99.99.I am sure it was from play.com but cant find it there, did anyone else see this advert and know where this deal was available from?

I think several places have this offer on, Argos, Blockbuster and I think Gamestation to name a few, BUT a lot of them have run out of stock, so you will need to hunt around to find it in stock.

    Good luck

Mistake I made was that I could of got caskback from quidco but i was too tired and forgot about it. Oh well i still got a bargin. By the way this was after a lot of time searching and I eventually found this via the www.hotdealuk.co.uk site, so a big thank you and as far as I am aware the £30 deal has no time limit.
