Oh my god. It works!!!
Just contacted sky about a price for Sky+ for my dad for xmas as i already had it and they said £150 + £60 for installation.I said for them to cancel my subscription and my parents subscription and thay gave me 08442414141 to ring about it and select option 5.
Spoke to a very helpful chap who said due to my dad being a customer for 9 years they could give him a new box fitted for £49 which i paid on the spot and they are fitting it Saturday PM.
Now that was worth a phonecall.:beer:

Just think how much money he would have saved not having sky
Especially now we have freeview and Freesat and you can buy boxes on the market than can record just like sky+ and even get free HD.0
