My mouldy ebay surprise!

I recently bought a craft item for 50p + £2 p&p (42p stamps on a second hand envelope!!). It arrived about a week after I paid - and it's very MOULDY and stinks of stale cigarette smoke!!!

Advertised as brand new in packet!

DH and I laughed our socks off at the brass cheek!!!

I've never negged anyone before - but am thinking about starting. I don't even feel inclined to let the seller know (feedback 700+) just as they didn't care about sending me a MOULDY parcel!!!

Am smiling as I type this, as cannot still quite get over it!:D  :D

Since it was so cheap I wouldnt bother with getting a refund as it'd cost you more to send it back.

    Id just leve negative feedback.

I know it's not very MSE of me, but I've just thrown it away - I'm not bothered about a refund!

It was just the sheer laughability of receiving mouldy goods!

As Yoda would say - HOW RUDE!

If that happened to me I would leave negative feedback with this comment:

"Supposedly new item arrived mouldy and stinking of stale cigarette smoke."

    D'ya know ... how wrong was I!

I emailed the seller, and the response I got back was so lovely and apologetic. Offered a full refund (which I refused, said to give to charity).

I'm so glad now that I didn't neg! Okay, the item wasn't right - but life's too short to bear grudges over a couple of quid. Lesson learnt to me, not to be too judgemental, too quickly!
