advice for 6 months contract renting

Please could someone advice me.

i have rented a flat in macclesfield and signed a 6 months contract and had deposited a month's rent as advance.

Due to unavoidable circumstances i have to move to another place and would like to vacate the property.

please could someone advice how it would affect my contract.

i couldn't see anything in my contract about what happens when i want to vacate the property before the end of the contract.

please could someone advice about what i shuld be doing now.

Tnanks.

Well you have agreed to rent it for the 6 months and would be liable for the rent for that period. But why not have a word with your landlord, I usually allow tenants to leave early as long as replacement tenants are found.

Speak to your landlord. If your landlord agrees you can leave early, then you will only be charged for:
    - the time between now and when the new tenant moves in
    - any costs the landlord has accumulated because you are leaving early (e.g. advertising, or another Finder's Fee with an agent)

Legally, you signed for 6 months so you are responsible for paying the full 6 months' rent. So speak to your landlord and get the OK to leave earlier.
