Gas bill £100 a month?? For 3bed house??

Hi all! I have a q regarding gas bills - this is a very basic question - does the above sound reasonable for 3 guys living in a 3 bed house?? They seem to be clueless about this, and are happily paying it, and I personally have no experience, as my bills etc were included when I lived out in the past (with parents now).

Any advice would be much appreciated - anyone can give their tupenny worth on this one

3 Bed Houses can vary hugely in size.

How long is the heating on for during the day i.e do they work and switch it off during day?

Is house double glazed & cavity wall insulated?

Gas cooker? Baths or shower?

Really need more details to give any answer.

3 lads who were not particularly carefull could easily run up such a bill in the winter, even in a small house.
