Suggestion - "I don't know where to put this" board

Quite often you see posts made containing phrases like "I don't know where to put this" or "I hope I'm posting in the right place"
Sometimes these posts are actually in the correct place, though more often than not they are not.
Would it be an idea to have a board dedicated to posts like this - "The I Don't Know Where To Post This" Board, where the moderators for this board can then move the post to the best place.
This would save other users getting annoyed and submitting "this is in the wrong place" posts, and it would also save time for existing board moderators having to move incorrect posts about.
What do you think?

I can see some sense in the suggestion, but I'm not sure it won't lead to a mountain of threads from people who just haven't made any effort to post in the right place (I never did work out why a moan about there only being sport on the TV one night started out on the Health board!)
You'd need BGs who REALLY know their way round the place too. Of course we all dobut I'm not sure I'd fancy that job.
Then there would be all the "But why did you move it here? Surely it belongs there?" posts.
And then you'd get the "Where's my post been moved to?" posts from people who don't know how to look for their own posts, and haven't been back in a while to look for their answers.
Is it that big a problem?Signature removed for peace of mind0 -

Doesnt the "anything else moneysaving" board cover this one off?0 -

To me, 'anything else' is 'anything else which doesn't have a dedicated home anywhere else', whereas what the OP seems to be suggesting is a board for threads you can't work out which board they belong on although you're sure there IS or might be a home for them somewhere.Signature removed for peace of mind0 -

I think that users are a bit lazy if they can't be bothered to find the correct board to post in! New members should lurk for a while before posting with the inevitable "I Don't Know Where To Post This" excuse.
Surely the board guides/mods have enough to do and this would only give them even more work. Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0
