Yougov - has anyone else had problems getting their cheque?

  • Hi,

I've been collecting on yougov for absolutely yonks to accumulate the £50 payout. I got there in the middle of September but still haven't received any payment.

I emailed them and firstly they said that as soon as I completed the next survey the system would recoginse that I had reached £50 and issue the cheque.

As that didn't happen I emailed them again and was told that it would be five weeks from reaching the £50 to receiving the cheque.

Now that that has passed I wondered what the next reason for non payment would be!!!?????

Wondered if anyone else had come across the same?

    Thanks

    Jan

I`ve had about three hundred pounds off them so far with no bother at all.
Sometimes you go two or three weeks without hearing from them others you get two surveys in a week.
  • I`ve had about six payouts so far with no bother
  • I'd say YouGov is 100% reliable when it comes to paying, if a bit slow sometimes. And, as was said above, they don't bounce you half way through a survey saying the survey has had enough respondents as Lightspeed often does.

I reached £50 payout limit at the end of August. No payment arrived, but my account stated that a cheque had been issued. I eventually emailed and was advised that the cheque must have become lost and they would re-issue a cheque. I emailed again and was advised that it could take a further two/three weeks.

However, a few days ago two cheques arrived from YouGov. I have banked one and will either tear up the other or return.

I would contact yougov (using their contact form) and ask what is happening.

    Good luck

I am still slowly crawling my way to £50, but I've not even hit the halfway point yet, just £22 in just a little over a year...so I probably have over another year of polls to go to get to it. After that I probably won't bother ever again.
