OMG I am trying to return to the employed, from being self- employed, Some of the forms and the questions you are expected to answer frightens me to death and gives me no confidence what so ever, so reading how others feel gives me a little hope.

So would you just list say, 6 and then expand on it in the 'Supporting Information' section?

Also, at the back of the job description / person specification, the last paragraph reads:

'Applicants are strongly advised to address the above person specification, stating how they meet each of the criteria stated'

There are 4 sections, Education/Training, Experience, Skills/Aptitues/Comptences and Other. Would it be ok to use each as a seperate heading and then write underneath how you meet the criteria listed within that section?

I've only had 3 jobs in the last 25 years and haven't had to fill many forms in before - I HATE it!!

Sounds like they will ask you questions and/or get you to elaborate on what you have said on your application form regarding the criteria.
Read through the person specification/competencies again and your answers and think about what questions they may ask you, better still if you have some one else that you can get to read it and then ask you some questions.
They may also ask do you have any other examples, not always but that has happened to me in the past.

Good luck for the interview & the future

Don't forget to post to let us know how you got on.
