Abbey ZERO Credit Card

Just a heads up (in case nobody has mentioned this already). I recently applied for an Abbey Zero cc for a trip abroad. No problem getting the card, but reading through the T&Cs I noticed they have added a £10 dormancy fee if the card is not used for 6 months.

If like me you got the card to use for foreign trips and have other better cards for general use then this may be a problem. Simple enough solution, just make sure you make at least one purchase every six months, but worth being a bit careful you don't get hit with this new fee. I had planned to only use this card on trips abroad, but often it can be six months or more between these trips.

Martin may wish to update his best buys guidelines for cards to use abroad to include a warning of this new fee.
