Hi mimi1234 - can you explain a little about this please?
"Have been warned by my mate's aunt that if you have more than £25 worth of points on your card, you best use them asap."
I rang CS a week or so ago, unconnected with this site, to confirm that I can keep my points into next year and was told categorically 'points last for ever'. I have too many to risk losing them, although I would choose to go shopping with my cross-your-fingers-for-her-this-time pregnant daughter.
Any light you can shed would be very gratefully received!
People have have had ACM cards suspensed and points wiped. Boots are looking into people card history a little bit closer and i think if they feel people are taking advantage (excuse the pun!) There have been a few warnings recently about getting rid of huge balances.....0 -
I agree we gotta keep prying eyes (AKA Mr
out of here!!!!
Alot of people on here put alot of effort into glitches and thankfully they post them on here for us all to share in the fun. I am extremely grateful to each and every one of the regular posters on here.
As for going underground....what about all the lurkers who suddenly want to start posting?? They have only crawled out of lurkersville because they are scared of missing out.
Sorry if this sounds harsh but I feel this is one of the friendliest boards on here, very helpful and informative and feel that maybe some people are now taking advantage of others genorosity. They are happy for others to do all the work finding glitches and trying them out but don't want to join in the chat or press the Thanks button!!! Try contributing a bit and you won't get left behind!
Rant over!
(Pegginout ducks for cover....)
I do think that is a bit harsh. I joined this site last January just before the sales and round about the time of the highlighter glitch (think they were about the same time - not sure where this year has gone to be honest!). I don't post alot but I do read this thread several times a day and am very grateful for the glitches and advice I get from here. I don't join in with most of the 'chat' as the majority happens during the evening and I am not on the computer during that time. Then when i log on in the morning there are pages to catch up on (not a complaint just a fact!). So whilst I may appear to be a lurker and newbie I have been around a while and would miss both reading this thread and the advice given. Plus I would miss Bootsing (my OH reckons I am addicted!). And if I ever find any glitches I will share them with you all! So just because people post infrequently doesn't mean they are lurkers.saving for ds2's summer international scout camp - £200

My experience has been that the reduced makeup bags and brushes work fine with pinkie but palettes and metallics don't (unless you get a young male SA who can't understand why it doesn't work and puts it in your bag anyway like I did).

I totally support the idea of finding some other channels to communicate the deals/glitches; as good as it is and as much as I appreciate it, Mse is becoming a rather easy way for MrB to correct the system
Couldn't have put it better myself.
Just going to try to catch up and see whether anything has been decided on.0 -
Mimi....How about spending them on one of the electric tootbrushes or razors. Have a look on boots.com and see if there is anything you want. If so you can always do a boots direct order instore and pay with your points.

I asked this question the other day, so i went into boots yesterday with my list of items to order and was told i couldnt order in store and pay with my points. I could only pay with debit/credit card or cash. She even went and double checked witht he manager for me and she also said i couldnt do it either.
I dont want to leave it to late cos usually all the items i want from boots end up being out of stock.:TIs thankful to those who have shared their :T
:T fortune with those less fortunate :T
:T than themselves - you know who you are!:T0 -
sorry to sound thick but
what is pinky??0 -
Princesswoo...I have done it....paid with points. The store wasnt sure if i could but tried in and the option was there and it worked..others have ordered doing the same.
Maybe worth an anon call to customer services.....just dont give them your details but ask them to call the store if there is a training need0 -

Its a £5 voucher that was given out to redeem against No7 or ruby and millie when you spend over £5 in store. They are now longer being issued0
