  • Checked out the new GWPs today and IMO mens one is much nicer (in terms of giving it to someone else) looking than the womens. I agree with some of the other posters that I probably wouldn't use the bag on a night out or anything.

The metallic eye pencils look good but TBH I still prefer the Urban Decay ones (set of 5 for £16 - which If you haven't got pinkies etc left works out better) or the Bourjois metallic one.

Totally agree SKMS. About the Men's GWP being nicer than the ladies, and the £16 5x pack of Urban Decay metallic eyeliners - I stumbled upon the 'velvet rope' set about a month or 2 ago and now i'm hooked!! They are super lush eyeliners! :T

YAAYY!! I got the Star highligher palette today aswell, (at you-know-where beepboes ;)) the one i was hankering after yesterday :o
SA accepted both vouchers together too (once i'd insited they do actually work together,..so give 'em a try!) Still gonna get another though just to look at, well 'stock up' :D

Also checked out the 'Twinkle' nail varnish I was after yesterday, but didn't like it on my nails in the end, though the 'Twinkle' lipgloss is really nice, got a few of them to use dare i say..

I did find a new nail varnish shade 'Coral Kiss' so got that instead. It's really lovely, a light corrally red - 'spesh for toenails. Recommended my dear ladies :T

    No7 illuminating compact mirror for £2.49 & GWP - Doesn't work.

Oh yeah, almost forgot. Managed to get a No7 compact mirror too, bloody hell! They're soo rare round here..! Took it to an SA and asked her to scan mirror then GWP. Nope, this doesn't work guys, till says 'total spend criteria not met' or summat like that. Just got the mirror for £2.49 in the end.

Never mind, was just happy to finally get a compact mirror and a star highlighter palette, which by the way is luurrvly :)

    xx

People have have had ACM cards suspensed and points wiped. Boots are looking into people card history a little bit closer and i think if they feel people are taking advantage (excuse the pun!) There have been a few warnings recently about getting rid of huge balances.....

Getting worried now, have just over £200 on my card as been saving the points since Jan - 95% are from ordering online as I rarely get to a store. I have earnt these by doing nothing wrong (except spending too much on boots lol) - what do they mean by taking advantage - using lots of extra coupons etc? Was planning on spending some last week but didnt get chance to go to town so may go Saturday and clear my card.

Such a shame as I loved building them up for xmas this year but wont risk it again next year.

I saw the EA consultant in Watford this afternoon and apologised for cancelling Monday, and she said it was fine. I asked if I could get the eye pallette without having a consultation and she was quite happy to do this. I was holding the S&G mini GWP and she said she would put through both items at the till for me. I did not have the heart to ask her to price-check this for me. It went through at £5 so I might take it back next week, because I really don't need it.

DD picked up a couple of the R&M i-liner brushes as the SEL said £5 and I thought she could have them for free. They went through at £6 and the SA went to check the SEL and then she called over a supervisor who overrode the till, so I got them for free with 2 pinkies.

The nice No7 SA who told me about the FCUK overnight bag being on the list of OOTW was not there. I will go back either Sunday or Monday and ask her if she knows anything more. The Manager at Waterfields Watford did not know anything other than it was a hairdryer from tomorrow.

Im worried about my AC points now too.

Ive only been saving them since september - again 95% is from shopping online for baby items as there to heavy to carry. Plus i bought a new pushchair.

I shall be sitting and doing my xmas gift list tonight to take into the store tommorrow and i will insist it works fine.

    Thanks for the help.

Perhaps we can use our points to buy gift vouchers, I think you can buy phone top ups with points so this would help to use up points without them being lost. Does anyone know if this is possible ?
