I know where your coming from Bham Dave but I just dont agree with it.

I think if MR b was looking then other glitches would have been busted far quicker than what they have been. Maybe its the system that is picking up on similar transactions being made around the country,working out why and then fixing it. same with .com orders.

Haha i know my way around a fair few boots! Your right though i also prefer the self service tills but still managed to get the palette and silver liquid eyeliner and used both tillspit and pinkie and 150 points coupon, i was surprised when she put it all through but the girl was lovely and really impressed, said she's never seen the 2 vouchers used together and will tell all her colleagues cause they try all sorts of combo's to get the best deals!

I also quite like the smaller boots like the one at Manchester Fort and Regent Road for when the sale starts, i remember the TC and Arndale got raided the day 75% started but i find you can often get better deals in smaller stores post-Christmas x

Has anyone used ss tills in reading recently? Im going to give it another go tomorrow hopefully. Ill be going by train though so dont really want a wasted journey!
Did it let you scan pinkies/ts before pressing finish and pay? Did it need authorisaton after each voucher? Whens the best time to go in?
Suppose it wont be too much of a wasted journey as ill still use pinkies to get the new eyeliners x 5! But with the £6 train fare it'd work out nearly £3 each instead...hmmm should i go or not.....

No it was like a gift set with foot cream and stuff in it. I can just remember it was one of my first big glitches and I was shaking so much doing it I thought i was going to drill a hole in the floor :rotfl: :rotfl:

It wasn't a gift set though it was with the pharmacy bits

I know it would be time consuming but how about when a new glitch is found just posting a 'glitch alert.'
Whoever found it could then pass the details by pm.
This wouldnt stop people being able to post how much they had spent to get it, just not how it works?
It would be such a shame if everyone just took the glitches else where.
I for one would be quite willing to do this.

What about a "text buddy" system I know when I was in store yesterday I thought about texting to let people know quicker if you know what I mean

I guess it could be argued about cost and "newbies" being excluded but I'm sure there is a way around it, I was new once

Can anyone help me!!! I've been scouring the boots site trying to work out my next shop and my brain is all fuddled!

I have got 1 x pinkie, 1 x 100pt metallic eye pencil and 1 x 500pt wys £15 on No7 skincare. How can I use these to the max and spend as little as poss?!? Don't want to waste my last pinkie!
