I've seen tan maintainer reduced to £5.00 in a few stores so it might not qualify for GWP.

I will be using SS tills;)

Thanks for confirming this darling. I am gonna get lots of the above today then. Might as well use up my PINKIES/TILL SPITS that I have left over after dishing them out to the ladies at work. Then I'm flinging the whole lot on eBay to make some moohlah for the local hospital.

Would it not be easier just to give the money to the local hospital if thats what you want to do instead of buying stuff you dont want/need? First lesson in money saving!

I will have to disagree with you on that! So I give money to charity and then chuck all the PINKIES/TILL SPITS (that I have accrued from buying stuff I actually did want) in the bin? From my point of view, not a clever money saving lesson at all. But guess what, each to their own dear.

  • If Mimi wants to buy stuff from Boots then donate money from selling his stash to charity, that's his choice. :)

sally06, does the till recognise the original price for GWP then? I'm planning to do a shop of 4 x lip screens (if I can find any!) and pay 18p, but the original spend would've been £20+. Would this work with GWP? Thanks :)

    Morning everyone! :j

I only have 2 pinkies left and I'm going to use one with a TS (thanks Melgirl!).

Would anyone like to swap my second pinky for a TS? I will need this by Friday as I am out first thing on Saturday and our post is always late! Please only PM if you can send first class - I will also send pinky first class!

EDIT: Gone, I have no more pinkies to swap!!

    ;)
"Buy me, Lady", said the frock, "and I will make you into a BEAUTIFUL & WHOLE & COMPLETE human being".
"Do not be silly", said the Man, "for a frock alone cannot do that".
"True", said the Lady, "I will have the shoes and the bag as well".

If the stuff is bought for very little with glitches then it should sell for more than was paid for it on ebay, so therefore the hospital would be receiving more money that way. Well that's by my reckoning anyway.

I have a hamper which cost me about £10 because of the glitches and I am donating it to The Cats Protection League to be raffled. It probably has about £100's worth of stuff in it, and they are hopeful that they will raise maybe £200. That's a pretty good return on £10, and will feed a lot more little furry mouths!
