Can't get a star pallett anywhere but Teesside Park get deliveries every night and they didn't get any in today so the lady said they should be due some - unfortunately am at work tomorrow and can't get out till saturday.
Has anyone used the peachy highlighter - is it o.k for fair skin?
I got both the pink and peach yesterday as i couldn't decide which i liked best:rotfl: I have very pale skin and when i tested them both on my hands they looked really well, just gave a nice glow IYSWIM. The peach is the slightly darker of the two but it is still fine for fair skin.:starmod:C'est la vie:starmod:0 -
Meant to mention that i went to Boots today and used SS till. Used till spit to get metallic eye pencil for £2 and SA said 'would you like a voucher'!!!!! It would be rude not to ...........................lol!
Then used the blue to get revitalift day cream (my usual ) for 4.98 and another TS with another eye pencil. This time Sa asked to see receipt before giving a blue! Noticed that the voucher is perforated and can be used for £5 off skincare and £2 off listed healthcare with min spend of £8 , so is actually worth £7.
The SS till does not prompt the customer to ask for a voucher- there are just very small notices above the till . Boots must be giving out far fewer vouchers then last time .0 -
if anybody is visiting the trafford centre branch either tomorrow or saturday morning can you let me know on here whether there are any no7 star highlighter thingies left - i'm going saturday afternoon just for this and don't want to waste a journey. And, you know, if you find one, and fancy hiding it somewhere for me, i'd be ever so grateful lol xx0

The voucher for 250 points that's inside the new men's gwp says it's good for any product in the no7 range. But to the side it says, very big, No7 for Men. So if it beeps, I'm thinking the SA will read the big print and be reluctant to add points on women's items. Has anyone used the voucher, and does it beep?0

Boots just agreed that they could have that time slot for a promotion for the lst one and the current one as it did not clash with their own branded anti-perspirant offers0 -

Thanks claire - think I will get it. I already have the old pink highlighter in the glass pump bottle which they are replacing with this and I do love it, all nice and sparkly!
Am going shopping on Saturday mornig to spend my pinkies and treat myself, only problem is I now need a bigger make-up bag!!0 -

this was at westwood cross hth
Ooh, another Thanet Bootser! I don't dare go back to westwood cross after today, might lie low for a bit. The girls in Ramsgate are dead nice, apart from the odd scrutiniser, might try it with them. There's deffo some discretion allowed in giving the gwps as I discovered today so they might look kindly on a familiar face asking. They all joke with me about how i seem to find all the bargains.2015 wins: Jan: Leeds Castle tickets; Feb: Kindle Fire, Years supply Ricola March: £50 Sports Direct voucher April: DSLR camera June: £500 Bingo July: £50 co-op voucher0 -
Also does anyone know if the Barry M dazzle dusts are on 3 for £10 or something similar? Or if it is coming up? I've seen it before around this time of year xx0

Those of us who have been around for a long time know that Boots has always been aware of this site and IMO accept that:-we find glitches and they 'fix' them.
The speed in which they are fixed is relevant to the amount of information given here.
The more information that is posted the quicker they are fixed.
By information I mean (And I am wording this carefully) posting about stuff, that sounds like bragging. I don't want to quote examples but I am sure that people know what I mean.
I do not believe that what we call 'glitches' are all mistakes, many are marketing tactics. For example, when Boots gave a free Palmolive shower creme with every item. We all ended up with loads and I don't believe that Boots didn't know that most orders had 40, 50 or 60+ shower crèmes in every order.
Same with the Mitchum, it was no coincidence that when the vouchers first came out, Boots suddenly had Mecum displays everywhere we looked about 6 or 7 places around the store. They were never there before.. Think about it.
IMO the real problem is when people abuse the glitch, get greedy and then brag about it. I know a lot of people have returned items from a glitch for a refund. Have had double points etc etc. The point I am trying to make is don't post on here what you don't want Boots to know. I posted recently about this Think twice Post once.
,
I am not standing in judgement, what people do is down to their conscience, just trying to make a points on what I have seen happening in the past. But the more information which dams you as an individual will also dam this community as a whole.
I think Boots are happy to have the glitches until they run their course, but the greed element creeps in and spoils it for all.
I am not in favour of a mass exodus to facebook, not everyone wants the lack of anonymity. And also this site is monitored by Mods and board guides, and is subject to massive scrutiny which gives us privacy regards our ISP number etc.
well said polls :T the main problem on here is that so many people want to come on and grab a glitch but they dont put in the leg work required to find out for them selves...eg, something as simple as reading the first post or reading back just a few pages...and before I get shouted down I know people dont have time to read the whole thread..i work full time and i struggle to keep up but if i want to know something then I at least have a quick skim through to find out for myself rather than asking straight away...all that happens then is the "glitch" or whatever i'm asking about gets repeated yet again and makes it easier for boots to monitor it. sorry if i've upset anyone but i'm just having my say, dont want to see this site go underground but people need to be more cautious and careful about what they are saying...and doing!!0 -
"I just found it amazing that as soon as 'going underground' was mentioned they all started posting as they didn't want to get left behind."
funny u say that pegginout...ur name gives it all the way !!!
l myself do not post on here regulary jus cuz l dont hav EXTRA cash to go to boots every day!! but l keep up wid the thread, and its us people who keep this thread goin. we all contribute when ever someone comes across a glitch or reductions. jus cuz suddenly someone has caused a stir, dont mean wer all afraid wer gonna get left behind.:T LLB HONS :T
im well chuffed...........0
