Can you get out of Time share?

My husband and I bought into time share (or a holiday club, pretty sure they're the same thing) this summer and have realised that it was a massive mistake.
We got in contact with the company and they just ended up getting us to part with more cash (long story).
Does anybody know if there is any way that you can get out of the contract after the cooling off period has lapsed. We are willing to pay money to do so as it would save us more money in the long run.
Any help or advice would be appreciated

Without knowing the name of the company and without knowing the Terms and Conditions of the contract, I really don't think you are going to get much more than general advice.
Have you tried googling the company name for forums discussing such issues? The MSE Dictionary
Loophole - A word used to entice people to read clearly written Terms and Conditions.
Rip Off - Clearly written Terms and Conditions.
Terms and Conditions - Otherwise known as a loophole or a rip off.0 -
The company name is Club la Costa, but I am just after general advice really. Wondered if anybody else had found themselves in the same situation.0

If you do a forum search for Club La Costa there are many previous threads about this company, here is just one:

Also if you do what Tojo Ralph has already suggested and Google you will find more information on other discussion websites.0
