I think I know deep down it's her. It's just so out of character for her not to come in in time for bath time (she used to sit next to me in the bath and dip her tale in the water) or for her food. Her food is still sat there now :(

I hope we're going to be able to get her back and bury her.

    This just doesn't feel real.

Oh hun, try and stay strong. We've only had our kitten a month but already shes a part of the family and I'd be devastated if anything happened to her. We live near a busy road too!!! Makes me feel that when shes old enough I won't want to let her out of the house but I know it would probably be cruel to try and keep her in all the time.
Its probably not much comfort at the moment but you've got some happy memories of her so I'd try and hang on to those.

oh i am hoping so hard that this is not your cat. hassle the council, tell them that you are hurting so much and you really would like to speak to someone as the pain is just too much. tell them you want to be able to bury her if it is your cat. ten days is a long time to wait.

hugs to you and yours x
  • aww sweetie! sending big hugs!! ((((((hugs))))))

I agree - I would be harassing the council like mad - to wait 10 days to find out if it's your girl is completely unacceptable!

    Stay strong xxx

I intend on waiting til lunch time tomorrow then ringing back but I don't know if I'll be able to wait that long never mind 10 days.

I'm in bits, I've been crying none stop for about four hours. I can't eat. The thought of sleeping without her on my belly tonight kills me :( Everytime I type my username in on here (She was Lexi) I cry a bit harder. I don't know what to do with myself.
  • Aww hunny! Pm me if you want to talk - I have been there!

I would be phoning the council at 9am sharp!

    Hugs hun xxxxxxx

    Here is my gorgeous baby.

I can't cope at all. My boyfriend came last night and as soon as he got here I cried even more.
I woke up at about 4 this morning thinking I could hear her jumping off my bed, I looked round for her then I remembered...

Not heard anything from the council yet, I'm giving it another hour then ringing them. I don't even know who I should be ringing, my mum talked to them yesterday, I was too upset.

This is stupid but I keep thinking about how cold her ears will be, she used to love it when I rubbed them and warmed them up.

I can't bare her not been here, crying and waking us up wanting to go out. It's so quiet and empty. The worst thing is, she never, ever went on the road where, if it is her, she got knocked over. She was just chasing another cat.

I just want my baby back.

[FONT=Verdana, sans-serif]I was chosen that day
    I'm learning to fly
    the world took me away,
    but please don't you cry

    And I chose you today
    to try and be strong
    so please don't you cry
and don't say that I'm gone

    When you're feeling alone
    just remember our love,
    I'm up near the stars
    looking down from above.

    Remember our love
    In a moment you'll see
that I'm still here beside you
    when you're thinking of me.
