I suspect that the critical mass of loads of people getting personal all at the same time has been reached.
There's always some of this sort of behaviour, but now it's pack orientated it would seem.0 -
NDG - i've never seen you jump into a discussion and stick up for someone when someone has been insulted and vilified for purchasing a property or is in negative equity and tries to make a positive post and is insulted or even believes that property prices are going to rise.
why would that be?
I don't think that's entirely right.

Perhaps you are right and I should do so more often. In some cases, I have thought of doing so, but others have already jumped in....much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -
So if you've got through the 39week barrier and you're sitting on the dole with an IO mortgage you are set.
A bit of a pain when the time comes to pay off the capital debt though.
But you said it was the capital amount that would do them in ( a little unforced glee in the comment below, about people in a sad predicament)
Interest will be paid by the welfare system - it's the stupidly high capital amount that they'll have borrowed to buy the house that'll most likely do them in if they are stuck on a repayment mortgage.
Thank you, HPI........'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is. A single market without barriers visible or invisible giving you direct and unhindered access to the purchasing power of over 300 million of the worlds wealthiest and most prosperous people' Margaret Thatcher0 -
Pay Day you really must provide me with a link - neverdespairgirl and CarolT seem to have so much integrity on here
I honestly don't think I've !!!!!ed about you behind your back!...much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -

As the starter of this thread and one who usually disagrees with !!!!!! but enjoys reading his posts, can I suggest we all call it a day on this thread as there seems little constructive to be added.US housing: it's not a bubble
Moneyweek, December 20050 -
removed in the spirit of stopping the snarking.--
Every pound less borrowed (to buy a house) is more than two pounds less to repay and more than three pounds less to earn, over the course of a typical mortgage.0
