You have made plenty of comments, so can you now take a moral high ground?

I respect elders but only ones who also respect me, and it was you who started the disrespect.

Now was it the teacher coment.

PS. I was not trying to disrespect, you but your disrespectful tone throughout this thread as caused my reaction.(it was humour anyway unlike yours)
You are right for some one with such an inability to listen to all the deflationary factors around us and still wanting the rates the same or higher you can see why we are in this mess and how it could possibly get worse if you had your way.

As usual, the pack of hyenas ends up reduced to hurling personal taunts. Not just Realy, chucky and StevieJ jumping in too.

    How sad but how predictable.

Every pound less borrowed (to buy a house) is more than two pounds less to repay and more than three pounds less to earn, over the course of a typical mortgage.

sorry !!!!!! - must talk about what you want to talk about...

was it deflation or inflation that you've been changing your view on?

or was it increasing or lowering rates?

Can we have a quick summary of this Debate :rotfl:

From what I can gather (without reading 10 pages) it's about a Self Employed Teacher who loses their Job, has a £ 250,000 Mortgage and £ 10,000 in Savings.

Are they better off with Lower Interest rates or Higher Interest rates ??

Looks like you are in for some very harsh lessons in life. I hope they won't be too painful for you, but you may come out the other side as a man.

You mean like, sack a few British and hire a few Poles.
