New Club Card V E-Mail Spam

I recently apply for a new Tesco club card , having my own domain I gave Tesco a NEW NEVER USED email address ("tesco@????????.co.uk") only to be used by Tesco for this club card and only this card.
I'm now being blasted by SPAM left right and centre from this address that only Tesco had, I have never shared it with anyone or any other company.
Is Tesco or one of their staff selling E-mail address to make extra cash on the side.
