Domestic Goddess Owners

Options
Could anyone with Nigella's Domestic Goddess please give me the recipe for her frangipane mince pies, I made them last weekend and we all loved them, I promised I'd make them again today and now I can't find the recipe. I just need the ingredients list for the almond pastry.
Many thanks
There is nothing either good or bad but thinking makes it so.

  • HERE'S the link to Nigellas' recipe pages on her website. You might find the recipe there? I don't have the domestic goddess book, just the Nigella bites one.

With regard to this post about Nigella's recipe it looks as though it may a wholesale cut and paste and, as such, might infringe copyright.

The advice given in the orange bar at the top of every page is to quote a small portion of text and then to provide a link for anybody who would like to read more.

I'll put the relevant rule in a quote for you here, and in the meantime could you edit the post to have a shorter quote (done) and a link please?

    TYIA :)

    That's OK. Sort of :)

It's been said elsewhere on OS that as a rule of thumb a list of ingredients can not be copyrighted, but a cooking method can.

So where possible it's a good idea to limit to the ingredients list to tempt everyone and then point to a website.

As for info from books - If you were to write down the method in your own words that would be fine.

It's hard to tell sometimes, which is why the text I added into your post has "may" and "might" in it (instead of IS and WILL).

    Hm.. :)

ps.gifFor everyone reading:- please do take care to respect copyright, post links where you are taking a recipe from a site, and always try to attribute the recipe concerned to the author.
