Alliance-Leicester - payment?

Hi,

I just want to find out how long will it take for the payment to clear.

i transferd 5700 from my lloyds to Alliance-Leicester on a sunday and the money was debited from my lloyds today when will i get the payment into my Alliance-Leicester??

    3-5 days....

    I move some money from my lloyds accout to my new a&l account. And it took 5 days.
    I phoned up on day three as i thourt this is how long it toook and asked them wwhat was happening and i was told to leave it untill day 5 and if the money is not in my account then i should phone them back up.
    But the money came throuth on day 5.

    it regularily takes 4 days for money to go from my A&L account to my RBS account, and approximately 10 seconds for it to go the other way!!! A&L are rubbish with not having faster payments yet.
    Debts (Paid Off/Total Debt): Graduate Loan (7.9%) £160.49/1000, Credit Card (29.9%) £290/350, Graduate Overdraft (0%) £0/£2000, Parents £0/£1000
    Savings (Saved/Target Savings):ISA (6.5%) £3600/£3600, Regular Saver (10%) £25/£200 per month
