Is it possible to find out why someone has been summoned to attend court??

The crown court is a criminal court. It only hears serious criminal matters.

If you were summonsed to court about a civil debt it definitely was not to the crown court, but it may have been to a civil court in the same building - most likely as I have said the county court.

i clicked on the first link (that special k provided) and it gives me all of todays cases is there any link to find previous court cases?

The second link I posted gives you old cases, you need name etc and they are emailed to you.
