Curry's - Edge lane retail park in Liverpool has 4 cores in stock about 10 minutes ago. Popped in while in the area on the off chance of getting a premium but no luck so will probably be after christmas now

Tried to order an xbox 360 premium through the Argos site about 17:30 but on confirming credit card details it said they were out of stock but decided to try again and got the following message once my order was placed so I wonder if they will accept my order?

Argos website will not confirm availability straight away, but earliest available delivery date is 29th December and collection not available.

Surely we may be hopefull as if they would not accept the order then it would not go through as earlier in the day and they way it says "there is no need to re-order"

As of 00:46 Thursday night, the Argos website is saying not available for home delivery or shop collection.

Well done any of you guys who got one after 4pm. I tried 5 times and after going through the entire credit card process was told they were out of stock.

My girlfriend phoned and they said they had some on sale at 3pm but all were gone within an hour.

Just Called Argos and they said...

The order is awaiting picking, I should call back on the 28th to check if it has been dispatched. The email system is very slow and I may not get one before Xmas!!!

So I guess it's just fingers crossed...glad I never told my lad and built his hopes up
