really struggling to understand this xbox thing ....

i know and undertand a lot of people are wary about ebay and there's been lots of silly prices and scams ...

but my neighbour has had 2 xbox 360 core systems each with 2 or 3 games listed on ebay , buy it now for £378 , which is about he cheapest.. for nearly 2 weeks ... with very few people looking at it and nobody buying .

Just don't understand.

The vast majority of people are after the Premium system, which includes a 20GB hard drive, wireless controller and other accessories for about £70 more. To get the best out of the console (i.e. online gaming, compatibility with old Xbox games and, I think, high-definition TV capability), the Premium version is required.

The Core console can be upgraded, but the hard drive alone will cost around £70 - and they're like gold dust now because so many people have had to go down that route.

I could have got a core system yesterday from Game, but decided to wait until after Christmas when the much better value Premium package will be out.

Hope that helps explain why the Core packages aren't so attractive, although perfectly good enough for playing the new games and shutting the kids up over Christmas! :snow_grin
