in Credit cards
Hi,
I'd really like people to post the perks they currently get on purchases from their current credit cards.
I'm sick of surfing around now and would like to stay with one card that offers me promotional rates from time to time on purchases. I know a lot of cards do introductory promotional rates on purchases for a few months but I would rather know what rates people get on retail transactions when they have been with a credit card for a while.
Thanks for any help :A

Can't say I've ever had any.
If fact when I phoned Barclaycard today, they were actually keen for me to close my account, and re-apply in 3 months for a new card.0 -
American express (we've got an Amex card with no annual charge)
do offers sometimes - e.g. we had a discounted child's meal at Nando's a couple of months ago.
The offers change frequently so you have to keep checking. Details are here:

All the cards I've found seem to offer introductory rates then after that standard APR. I've yet to find any with worthwhile perks.
Even the occasional offer has small print or is an indirect way of making more money out of you.0
